Playoff Seasons: Three - 2011, 2014, 2015 Notable Records: In 2011, the 90 Degree Putters lost the championship game by just four points to the River Gypsies. Even more unbelievable, that was a two-week championship round. The 90 Degree Putters' other most notable achievement is a more fortunate one. Out of the the original franchises in the Red Zone, over the last six years, they have had the second-fewest points scored against them. They have had 9,315 points-against, just a bit off the first-place River Gypsies at 9,189. This is aided by their 2015 campaign, where they had just 8.96 points-against-per-player, the third-lowest mark all-time, and one of just four instances where a team's opponents' players have averaged fewer than 9 points. That 2015 season culminated with the Putters winning 10 games, securing the #1 seed and tying the record set by The Mullynation in 2014. The Putters have a history of high highs and low lows. There have been nine teams that have eclipsed the 120+ mark in terms of points-scored-per-game, and the Putters have done so twice. In contrast, there have only been three teams that have scored fewer than 90 points per game for a season, and one of those three includes the 2013 Putters. |
